Case Study Blaise Studios

The customer from Blaise Studios had been on our website to get some inspiration for their new shop front signage and had seen the Coffee Cali picture.

It shows a sign with the Coffee CNC cut out in aluminium composite. She said she really liked that as it wasnt just your standard cut vinyl , her ideal design would have been 3D letters but her budget just couldn’t stretch that far.

Due to the tight budget we decided to show her a couple of different designs that ranged in prices. Proof v1 showed a brushed aluminium composite with cut vinyl, proof v2 showed a brushed aluminium composite tray sign with the letters and logo CNC cut out, proof v3 was an aluminium composite tray sign with CNC logo and the letters to be in cut vinyl and finally v4 showed a rustic wooden sign with CNC logo and letters.

The customer really appreciated us taking time to show the variety of design ideas and the different corresponding quotes, it really helped her understand what she could get for her money and whittle down her design preferences.

The V4 proof was chosen to move forward with as she loved the cross between rustic and modern. We decided that as she couldn’t have 3D letters, we would use locators to raise the logo and lettering off from the back-wood panelling to give a 3D effect without the cost. The result was an impressive, eye catching sun that resulted in a lot of great feedback!
