Aluminium Composite Panelling

This signage material consists of two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a non-aluminium core. ACPs are frequently used for external cladding of buildings and used by us in many of our signage applications.

The Aluminium Composite Panels are produced in a wide range of metallic and non-metallic colours as well as patterns that imitate other materials. At Pennine Signs we stock a range of colours that are used in a manufacturing on a daily basis.

There are many generic names for the composite panels and lots of people refer to them as Dibond or sandwich panels.

Not all composite panels are the same ! There are lesser grades of aluminium composite that is often referred to as hording panel or lite panel.

At Pennine Signs we never use these lite versions for large permanent signs or for tray signs as the lite versions are not manufactured to the same tolerances and can warp over time.
