This customer was opening up a new beauty salon that offered a range of services from hair dressing and styling to cosmetics and beauty treatments. They needed two external signs, window graphics and internal door graphics, all to display their new branding, logo and variety of services.

As this job was starting from scratch with no designs or logos, we began by going to site and conducting a full site visit taking measurements, pictures and discussing requirements.

Then the customer was asked to join us at our head office in Mytholmroyd to design the signage one to one with our design team. Doing this meant we weren’t going back and forth tweaking multiple proofs, instead we went from nothing to the whole site being designed and ready to produce.

We provided a quote for x2 back lit tray signs with halo illumination to the edges and the centre of the sign to be backlit also.

To explain the manufacturing process for this sign, we have broken it down into bullet points:

– The tray was created out of 3mm aluminium composite with 50mm returns

– The letters were then CNC cut out from the aluminium composite tray

– We then placed the LED’s to the inside of the tray sign

– A full print was applied to the face of the sign and then the letters were hand cut out of the full print

– Clear acrylic was applied to the inside of the tray where the letters had been cut out

– The CNC cut letters were then re attached to the tray sign but raised off with locators to allow the light to give a halo effect around the lettering.

We have a few different options for sign media:
Cut Vinyl – Our cut vinyl is backed with a permanent self adhesive that allows the product to be fitted to internal walls,
external and internal signs, glass and vehicles. It is an exterior grade that is made to last and comes in a variety of
colours.
Printed Vinyl – Our printed vinyl is backed with a permanent self adhesive that allows the product to be fitted to internal
walls, external and internal signs, glass and vehicles. It is an exterior grade vinyl which can be printed to, making your
designs come to life.
Wrap Vinyl – Wrap vinyl is designed for, and used most commonly, to be fitted into recessed areas and follow the
contours of a van to give a full, professional finish without any noticeable breaks in the print. It can also be used to wrap
certain 2D and 3D objects.
