The specification for this totem was initially set by the architects for this job. Their specification for this job was way outside of the customers actual budget, so we were tasked with finding a solution to make a sign that matched the design features requested by the architects but were within the constraints of the budget.
The totem sign also needed to be installed as quickly as possible as the venue had already opened. It needed to be lifted into site with as little disruption as possible to the venue.
The sign features interchangeable poster cases, fully interactive LCD screen and illumination. The totem posters were also going to be changed weekly, so we had to make sure we designed it with this function in mind, making sure it was easy to use.
