This case study shows how we can use cut vinyl to create a simple yet eye catching design. The colours for this are chosen from our stock colours and are white and Dove Grey.

The customers originally wanted us to design something for a Grey Ford Transit (Medium Wheel Base with a standard panel) but later changed it to a slightly different van, (For Transit Medium Base, high roof with a sliding door on the passenger side). The change in van reiterates why it is very important to get the correct vehicle information as this can have a dramatic change in design. Luckily for this job it wasn’t an issue.

The proof A you can see above was the first simple design we did to show the customer a basic idea to get the ball rolling. The customer could then see the design on the van template and reflect on what it is they are after. The customers feedback was that they wanted something more modern looking. After some discussion with the designer they decided that it would be good to use the hat from the logo as a watermark in the background.

This would give a modern and eye-catching look that could be easily replicated on more vans in the future. This van design has all the basics covered without throwing too much information at passers-by. It includes the contact information, logo and information about never carrying tools in the van for safety.
